We will visit again. Overall the food was good. We both loved the brussel sprouts. My spouse loves her salmon dish and went in about it being delicious. I gotthe chicken saltimbocca. Overall it was cooked well but way too much sage. Service was so slow and it was not busy. We didn't even get to order entrees until our appetizer had been finished for a while. Then we sat for a long time after being done with our meal to get the check. It was before their busy dinner hours. Perhaps an off night. As I said, we will eat there again.

Booked a reservation to celebrate a birthday. While the table next to us was sang happy birthday and treated to a dessert we didn't get the same honor which drops the service score. We started with the pierogis and they were delicious however it did take almost 30 minutes to get them and $19 for 3 potatoes dumplings is steep in my opinion. Then we ordered the entrees and I got the philly, it was delicious however the fries pictured online and in others reviews are not what I received. I was given potatoe wedges which were varying thicknesses which I didn't love. Some were very crispy. Some just too much potato. Didn't love them. And finally we got 2 pieces of cake. It was very tasty but $12 each and no recognition for birthday was just disappointing. Overall things moved slowly and it was not busy. We were in on a Tuesday night and it took about 2.5 hours. Id say this restaurant is worth going to because things were tasty but it's not something id put into the regular rotation as it was slow and just didn't make you feel special for a special occasion but came with that special occasion price tag

The goat cheese appetizer was delicious although it could use a couple more pieces of bread. The tomato soup was tasty but luke warm. The tomato jam on the grilled cheese was fantastic! I would have preferred more cheese and less onions personally as it felt more like a grilled onion sandwich than grilled cheese. The Sunday dinner pasta and shrimp Alfredo were both very good. The hamburger was ok. The burger itself was bland and the tomato jam was found to be overpowering. Our waitress was kind and very apologetic when there was a mistake with the pasta but did not ask if we wanted refills on any drinks. Overall, it was an average experience.

Wonderful meal and outstanding service! Jambalaya was the soup of the day and it was outstanding! My salad was very hearty and such an interesting combination of flavors! Pretzel cake is to die for!

On February 14th of 2026.. there were about 10 of us for brunch. I wish I could remember the waitress name but she was perfect and so sweet to all of us and everything came out of the kitchen on time. The eggs benedict were a big hit with many of us! Three of us were celebrating birthdays however we brought our own cake. We realized later that perhaps we overstayed and should have never opened gifts there. The manager probably would have liked us to open gifts at our homes however he never kicked us out !! Whitney House made three women in their 70s very happy with wonderful memories. God bless all your staff!!!!

We went for brunch to celebrate a family birthday. The server was excellent — warm and attentive. We had a variety of dishes in our group - quiche, hash, Caesar salad, and a traditional breakfast. We also had the coffee cake as an appetizer which felt more like a dessert! The tavern and front of the restaurant and atmospheres are very different so there are options depending on your mood.
